A Slow Morning
The beauty of giving yourself time before the day begins.
Most mornings begin with a small panic — the alarm, the phone, the list. A slow morning is a quiet rebellion against all of that.
Wake a little earlier
Not dramatically. Fifteen minutes is enough to change the tone of the day. Use them for yourself before anyone else gets a claim on your attention.
Light, water, warmth
Open the curtains first. Drink a glass of water. Make coffee or tea and actually sit down to drink it, ideally near a window.
A gentle face
Your morning skincare can be simple: a splash of water or a mild cleanser, something hydrating, and sunscreen — always sunscreen, and especially if you are having laser or skin treatments. Let it sink in while you finish your cup.
Postpone the phone
The messages will still be there in twenty minutes. A morning that begins on your own terms has a way of carrying you gently through the rest of the day.
